Biography
Aaron graduated with a BA in Biochemistry from CUNY Hunter College where he worked on the synthesis and characterization of porphyrins and phthalocyanines for solar cells and molecular electronics in the Charles Drain lab. He completed his PhD in the Francis Szoka lab at UCSF with a focus on improving the utility of liposomal nanoparticles for targeted drug delivery. Alongside, in the Fields group, he worked to reduce impediments to the transport of small and large molecules into the cartilage endplate to aid in overall disc health and nutrition. Aaron is currently transitioning into the business side of science.
